Directions:
Wagner Natural Area is approximately 1.6 km west of the junction of Yellowhead Highway 16 and Highway 44.Turn south on to Atim Road (Rge. Rd. 270), then east on to the service road. Follow
the service road east to the gravel parking area and the entrance gate to the Natural Area.

   Wagner Natural Area Events 2019 


Spring Clean-up: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday May 11 --- meet in parking lot, dress for wet conditions and bring gloves; bags and litter-pickers provided; refreshments provided. RSVP through info@wagnerfen.ca

 

World Migratory Bird Day celebration: 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday May 18 -- Wagner display will be at this event, which is being held by BLESS at the Lois Hole Prov. Park

 

Bat Walk: at Wagner Natural Area by the Central Field, time and date TBD (likely mid- to late May) 

 

May Species Count: Saturday May 25 (birds—Dave Ealey leading)—times: 6 a.m.; 8 a.m.; 10:00 a.m.; RSVP through info@wagnerfen.ca

 

May Species Count: Sunday May 26 (plants—Patsy Cotterill leading)—time: 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. RSVP through info@wagnerfen.ca

 

Pale Yellow Iris weed pull day: Saturday June 8  (Dave Ealey coordinating). More details to come.
